1The app and your license
Meowmo lets you write notes and checklists, set reminders, and keep a cat character on your Home Screen. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's usage rules.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to use the app.
2Your notes
Everything you write in the app belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it.
Your notes are stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping your device and its backups safe. We cannot recover notes that are lost because a device was reset, lost or damaged, or because the app was deleted.
3Purchases and subscriptions
One character is free. Other characters are premium and can be unlocked individually, by a subscription, or by a one-time purchase, at the prices shown in the app at the time you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
- If you change devices or reinstall, use Restore purchases in the app's Settings.
We may change prices or the characters on offer in the future. A price change will not affect a period you have already paid for.
4Using the app fairly
Please do not:
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, except where the law allows it
- Work around purchase or access controls
- Use the app in a way that breaks the law or infringes someone else's rights
5What belongs to us
The app, its characters, artwork, animations, name and logo are owned by Meowmo and protected by intellectual property laws. Buying a character gives you the right to use it inside the app; it does not transfer ownership of the artwork.
6Apple
These terms are between you and Meowmo, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Your use of the app must also follow the App Store Terms of Service. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
7No warranties
Meowmo is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always be delivered on time. Please do not rely on Meowmo as your only reminder for anything critical.
8Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Meowmo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Some places do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer protection law.
9Ending these terms
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your license if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as ownership and limits on liability, survive the end of these terms.
10Changes
We may update the app and these terms from time to time. When we change the terms we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app or on this website if a change is significant. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Meowmo is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory rights you have where you live.
