Privacy Policy 

Meowmo ("we", "us") is provided by Meowmo. This policy covers the Meowmo app for iPhone, its Home Screen widgets, and this website.

Meowmo does not ask you to create an account. The things you make in the app stay on your device:

• Notes, checklists and their card colors, pins and archive status
• The name you give your cat and the character you choose
• Your settings, such as animation level, haptics, sounds and reminders

This information is stored locally and shared with the app's own widgets on the same device so they can show your pinned notes. We do not receive it and cannot read it.

If you back up your iPhone using iCloud or your computer, this information may be included in that backup under Apple's terms and your own backup settings.

Premium characters and subscriptions are bought through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple processes the payment. We never see your card number or billing details.

The app receives confirmation of which purchases are active on your Apple Account so it can unlock what you paid for and restore it when you ask.

If you allow notifications, the app schedules reminders on your device. You can switch reminders off in the app's Settings, or revoke notification permission in your iPhone's Settings at any time.

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may give us aggregated crash and usage statistics. These do not identify you and do not include the contents of your notes.

If you send feedback or ask for help, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply and to improve the app.

This website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Like most sites, our hosting provider may process standard technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver the pages and keep the service secure.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. Information is shared only in these cases:

• With service providers who help us run the app and this website, under obligations to protect it
• When the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or of us
• As part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information

You are in control of what lives in the app. Archived notes stay until you delete them, and deleting a note from the Archive removes it permanently. Deleting the app removes its data from your device.

Messages you send us are kept for as long as needed to help you, and you can ask us to delete them by writing to hello@meowmo.app.

Meowmo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you, and to object to how it is used. Because most of your information never leaves your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly in the app.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or on this website before it takes effect.
